Welcome to ISMDS 2026
We are pleased to announce that the Forth International Symposium on Medical Decision Science (ISMDS 2026) will be held in Sydney (Physical and Online presentation), Australia, from June 26-28. The ISMDS 2026 will feature a series of keynotes, workshops and visits in addition to oral/poster presentations of original research. The goal of the Forth International Symposium on Medical Decision Science (ISMDS) is to bring together theoretical and practical knowledge related to Medical Informatics and Healthcare Management and create a common forum for the exchange of ideas and for the future development of the field.

The accepted full paper of ISMDS2026 will be published in Journal of Data Analysis (JDA, ISSN: 1819-2343), which is indexed in: ACI and EconLit.
Special issues
All submitted full paper will have opportunities for consideration for the Special Journal Issue. The final decision for paper selection will be made based on peer review reports by the Guest Editors.

Each paper has eight pages, and additional pages are charged. Please follow the Symposium format and submit your abstract to Submission System.
1. Full Paper (Presentation and Publication)
We welcome full-text papers, including results, tables, figures, and references from prospective authors. Submission System will accept full-text papers (.pdf, .doc). It is expected that all article submissions will report original, previously unpublished research results, either experimentally or theoretically. These criteria should be met by articles submitted for the Symposium, and they must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. A manuscript must follow the Symposium style, and it must go through both a review and an editing process.

Those whose abstracts are accepted will be invited to present their work at the Symposium, but their abstracts will not be published.

Brief Introduction
4th International Symposium on Medical Decision Science (2026) will take place in Sydney, Australia, June 26-28. This award is open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and PhD students (around the world) who have inventions in the field of health and medical informatics. We encourage students to submit and present their papers as the first author. For the student essay prize competition, a full paper must meet the following criteria.
Evaluation Content
Originality and interesting of topic
Suitability and clarity of methodology
Clarity in writing, tables, graphs and illustrations
Oral Presentation skills
Rules of eligibility for the Student Essay Prize competition
All students will be divided into three groups(onsite or online): Undergraduate, Master, and Ph.D.
Each presenter must have been enrolled in an educational program.
The student must present an oral presentation and be registered at the meeting.
Submission Deadline: Mar 31, 2026
If you want to join in the Student Essay Prize Competition, please choice which way(onsite or online) and provide student ID(Enrollment letter) when you submit your paper together.

The registration fee for this symposium is primarily charged in USD. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer.
MDSAT and affiliated societies or organizations with signed MOUs are eligible for a 30% discount on registration fees per submission.
For the same author (presenter) or team submitting a second or subsequent paper, the registration fee for each additional paper will be discounted by 50%.
